This Cookie Policy applies to all personnel, contractors, and website visitors interacting with the websites, web applications, and online domains operated by Teachtorch B.V. (“Teachtorch”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
This policy explains how and when we use cookies and similar tracking technologies in connection with our business operations and operating activities involving European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA) personal data.
Capitalised terms used but not defined in this policy have the meaning set forth in our Privacy Notice.
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, enable security features, and provide reporting information to site operators.
teachtorch.com does not currently set any cookies of its own, and no cookie banner is displayed, because none of the technologies below store an identifier on your device.
We measure site traffic using Notifuse Web Analytics, a self-hosted analytics tool. It is cookieless by design: it does not write a cookie, local storage entry, or any other persistent identifier to your browser, and it reports aggregated traffic statistics (pages viewed, referrers, session duration) that cannot be tied back to you individually. Because it stores nothing on your device, Web Analytics does not require your consent under the ePrivacy Directive and runs on every page.
If you submit our contact form or click a link from a tracked marketing email, our servers may associate that single visit with your business email address (see Section 6 of our Privacy Notice). This identification happens server-side and does not rely on a cookie either.
We do not currently run cookie-based marketing or advertising tracking. If we introduce any in the future, they will only be placed after you explicitly opt in via a cookie consent banner, and this policy will be updated first to describe them.
Because no cookies currently require your consent, there is nothing to opt in or out of today. If we introduce cookies that require consent (such as future marketing cookies), we will add a cookie banner and a “Manage Cookie Preferences” control to the website footer at that time, and this section will describe how to use it.
In the meantime, you can still control cookies generally through your web browser settings (typically found under “Help”, “Tools”, or “Preferences”). Please note that blocking cookies may prevent parts of our web application from functioning correctly.
Our websites do not track users across third-party websites for targeted advertising over time. Consequently, our systems do not alter data collection practices upon receiving web browser “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals.
